Nova Scotia’s reopening plan takes a phased approach to safely easing restrictions. The 5-phase plan is based on ongoing progress of province wide vaccination rates and improvements of public health and healthcare indicators like COVID-19 activity and hospitalizations.
To enter Canada, American travellers must be fully vaccinated for at least two weeks. Vaccinated tourists must test negative for COVID-19 before travelling (via PCR test), carry paper copies of their vaccination records, and upload their documents to the ArriveCAN app or website.
Measures put in place to help contain the spread of COVID-19 are gradually changing. As restrictions change, you need to continue to follow public health directives for gathering and social distancing. Please check the websites of Parks Canada locations before your visit.
